To everybody:

Recently, my institute prepares to buy one animation package for workstation.
I'm in charge of survey.  Our primary project is to usc CCD to scan an object
(with 2.5D) and present the image in animation package and then do CAD/CAM.

I need to know what is the advantage of using Lightwave and what model of Amiga
should I use?

A4000 Computer (68040/25 CPU)
2 MB Chip Ram 16 MB Fast Ram
880KB 3.5 inch floppy drive
VT 4000 v.3 H/S
A1084S color RGB/Video/Y-C/Audio screen
120 MB HD
Amiga DOS/Workbench V3.0
Lightwave 3D Animation Model

Should I notice anything before purchase ? Or in my case, should I use SOFTIMAGE, Wavefront, PRISM, Alias  instead of Toaster ?
